DBSA Wellness Tracker

DBSA has some exciting updates coming to the DBSA Wellness Tracker! We know physical health and mental health are closely connected, so in this update, you will be able to not only record, but track physical health changes over time including:

  • weight
  • cholesterol
  • blood pressure
  • heart rate
  • hemoglobin A1C

This will allow you to see how your numbers have changed, providing more insight into how your physical health trends relate to your mental health. You will be able to see these changes in your Tracker reports. This update to the Tracker is available on the web application and on both iPhone and Android apps. Please update your phone apps in order to take advantage.

In addition, DBSA is asking all users to consider allowing DBSA to collect non-identified information from their account so that we can better evaluate how the Wellness Tracker is used. This will help us identify areas for improvements to the app and/or sections of the app. Activating this feature is completely optional – if you do not want to participate, you can continue to use the system as you always have and no information will be collected. Opting in is simple:

Web: Login to your Wellness Tracker account. On the intro tracking page, there will be a link near the top of the page. Can’t find the link? You can also update your preferences by clicking on Account at the top of the page. Once on your account page, scroll to the bottom for the option to Opt In. Click on the box to opt in, click it again to opt out.
Phone: Login to your Wellness Tracker account on your iPhone or Android device. Once there you should see a pop-up message asking your permission for DBSA to access your data. If you do not see the pop-up, you can update your preference at any time by visiting your account page.
